The dried Tropea onion version represents an excellent substitute for fresh vegetables. Dehydration allows you to always have red onion on hand in the kitchen. Subsequently, many different packages of dehydrated onion were created, ready for consumption in all seasons.
Our farm offers this version of the dried Tropea onion in the practical 20 g pack, in which almost 1 kg of red onion is concentrated. A few precautions are enough to restore the consistency of the fresh onion, even if the maximum yield is obtained in many preparations using the dried onion as is.
To revive the dried onion: leave the onion in water for a minimum of 15 minutes, up to a maximum of a couple of hours - depending on the result you want to achieve.
