The flavors of the Calabrian woods can be traced back to porcini and walnuts. PorNocino is born from these flavors. PorNocino looks like a liqueur with an intense and decisive flavor where the taste of porcini mushrooms and nocino prevails. Ideal at the end of a meal or as an accompaniment to desserts based on dry, hard or almond desserts.

The name is also linked to the historical figure "Duonnu Pantu", a Calabrian priest and poet in dialect who wrote erotic sonnets.

Also known as Domenico Piro, he was born in Aprigliano in 1664 and was a cultured man, a nonconformist priest, thanks also to a literary production, he is considered the first Calabrian dialectal poet and in many respects a singular figure. A poet who frees a peasant world from the weight of authority and from the cultural conditioning that had burdened the life of Cosenza for over a century, he was subjected to a very ferocious inquisition that struck priests and laymen alike.
