King Italo is the true founding father of Calabria. In 1350 BC. unifies the region and begins to leave deep traces in the culture of the Mediterranean.
The first "syssitia" date back to that era: common meals in which the social, economic and political life of the court was woven together. King Italo managed to unify the territory with war but also with peace as already told by Aristotle. Such an evocative name had to be forcibly linked to typical products of Calabria.
Just as King Italo unified the different souls of his people, Qual'Italy has linked clementines, oranges, cedars, lemons and bergamots.
