Pancetta is undoubtedly one of the most used cured meats in Calabrian cuisine. It is obtained from the lower underside of the pigs and is presented in alternating layers of fat and lean. The pancetta is typically flavored with red pepper and can be stretched, sectioned with the rind and cut into a rectangular shape, or rolled, skinned and wrapped in casing. Finally, it undergoes a slow maturation, for about forty-five days in the case of the stretched pancetta and about ninety in the case of the rolled up one.

The product is vacuum-packed in slices of about 350 Gr and is shipped in a freshness-saving bag and gel cold accumulator, ideal for ensuring that the product travels at a controlled temperature.

It is produced without gluten and milk derivatives.
